Photographs

To Howwood Curling Club
As a photography student at Edinburgh College of Art, I have been asked by the National Museums of Scotland to participate in doing a series of photographs for their archives. The remit is to document the activities of a sports club showing the sport in action, the equipment used, and the social aspects. It is anticipated that the archive will remain locked for some 50 years and then form a historic look back at life in 2010.

I shall be most grateful if you will consider allowing me to attend Wednesday evening's curling match and take photographs.

Regards Caroline Alexander

A selection of photographs taken by Caroline Alexander which are now lodged with the Scottish Film Archivists and sealed away for 50 years.
