Wemyss Bay to Rothesay, Gourock to Dunoon, and Largs to Cumbrae,
all easliy accessed by car or public transport. The
town centre is a pleasant 20 minute stroll
along the prom. There are many specialist shops and multiples to browse through.

Visit
the various cafes, bars and restaurants in town or at the Largs Yacht Haven. Sample
the famous Nardini's Ice-cream or enjoy award winning fish and chips Take
a boat trip around the bay in the summer, if the weather is fine Visit
Vikingar and Kelburn Castle to learn about the history of
the town. Walk
along the promenade to the Pencil built to commemorate the Battle of Largs (1263)
where you will find a small sandy beach. Watch
the many seabirds. Even seals and porpoises appear from time to time. If
you have a car, the opportunities are endless, eg you can visit National
Trust Properties and Gardens, shop at Glasgow city centre,
Braehead Shopping Centre or Loch Lomond Shores |
